Art Imitates Life
On Saturday morning, pcweenies.net and Uncubed went down for a few hours. Anytime my sites go down, it’s a very uncomfortable feeling. What if someone’s visiting my site for the first time? Will they ever return if they see that the server’s down?
I suppose there are bigger things for me to worry about… but I don’t think I’m alone in going through the anxiety of a downed site. What about you?

P.S. Happy Birthday, Aarti!

Happy Birthday Aarti.
the only other stage I go through is having to tell JT the site is down
lol. I think maybe I’m the only one that goes through those 4 stages of web-hosting blues.
Dear Krishna,
Couldn’t you, please, add a Frumph’s link somewhere (maybe in “Links”), so you could get back in the Top 10 Incoming list @ Frumph’s.
I did my share to get keep you into the Top 10 Outgoing list.
Maybe some people could also give a (good) rate for PC Weenies at Frumph website.
cheers and thanks for the great strips.
LawD.
PS Sorry, I added my comment here, but wasn’t sure wherelse I could have you read this.
added! Thanks, lawd!
Try being the CTO of an online gaming company….. Stage 5 is the phonecall to the CEO, Stage 6 is the emails from the customer care guys, stage 7 is the “heated” discussion with the datacentre, Stage 8 Is the confirmation that everything is OK again, stage 9……. The customer claiming that they “lost thousands” because the jackpot on the casino came in, JUST as the site went down! LOL
Um you’re missing one, Bargaining, or does that not apply in the web-hosting blues?
and stage 6 or worse stage -1
The influx of emails, tweets, phonecalls
Your site’s down, did you know your sites down?, i’m hungry and your sites down!
Thankfully only happened once in the early days!
