The Server Room
Ahh, the beloved Footle server room.
Managing an array of servers requires controlled room temperatures, properly labeled and routed cables – and more importantly – enough floor space to get around.
Hats off to the sysadmins that keep their server rooms clean, organized and operational. It’s not easy…

Update: The server hosting the site was down for quite some time yesterday. Things have finally stabilized somewhat. The downside is, the comments for today’s comic somehow got lost in the bit bucket.
Well, I figured it would either be a “Bob weeps softly” moment, or a “Bob gets tipped offbalance as all the blood rushes to a certain lower extremity” moment, and my money was on “softly weeping”.
Unfortunately for Bob, looks like I was right…
“properly routed and labled wires” I spewed my coffee on my screen with that one.
You should see the server room at my work it is pathetic. I won’t even describe it. The place I worked at before had their server behind bullet proof glass in the font of the building.
