There’s still time to get your numbered “Artist Edition” version of Rebootus Maximus! The books are slated to arrive in late August, and ship in early September. The cut off date to receive a numbered edition with the PCW / UNcubed Sampler #1 is August 15th (coincidently, also India’s Independence Day), at which point I’m closing all Artist Edition numbered orders.
You can still get an Artist Edition book, with a sketch in it after that date, it just won’t be numbered or include the PCW / Uncubed Sampler. Beat the holiday rush, buy your copy today (it makes a GREAT holiday gift for that techie in your life.)
As always thanks for your support. I couldn’t have made this book (or the comic) without readers like you.

The stack of books you see on the photo up above are simply a small sampling of the total quantity of books I’ve ordered. The first print is limited to 500 copies, which I’ll be selling online and at the upcoming MiniMegaCon show this weekend.
I’ll start preparing copies to mail out by the first week of September. Thanks for your support!

On Monday’s Art & Story Alive! show, I shared my experiences at MiniMegacon (Show #80). Book sales were decent, but the traffic on the floor was somewhat anemic, at least compared to the main Megacon show (held this March). Still, we did well enough (making a small profit), and hopefully earned some new readers in the process.
The mug that you see in the photo above can be purchased at the Art and Story Podcast store on Zazzle.com. Profits go towards supporting Jerzy and Mark’s excellent Art & Story shows.
On the book front, now that things have settled down a little, I’m starting to work my way through mailing out pre-orders for “Rebootus Maximus”. I mailed out the first 7 numbered editions this afternoon.
My goal is to sketch and pack at least 10 books a day and have them mailed out every week until all pre-ordered copies have been sent out. Want a book? Why not order your very own copy?
The standard edition is only $20 + shipping. The Artist Edition includes a sketch in your book for only $10 more + shipping. And to sweeten the pot, I’m actually throwing in a few surprises (which can include original art from my sketchbooks!) for all orders placed between now and September 15th.

P.S. “Rebootus Maximus” will have a special book signing event at the Art Institute of Tampa on Saturday, September 12th, from 10:30AM to noon. If you’re in the Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Clearwater area, you can purchase a book and save on shipping!
I mailed out the first batch of books yesterday. I finished packing the second batch (ready for mailing) this evening. I’m trying to get as many done each night (it takes about 10 minutes to prepare each package).
Thanks for being patient! I’ll be packing books every night until they’re all mailed out.

I took a few photos of the ‘unboxing’ process while opening another fresh stack of Rebootus Maximus books. The printer did an excellent job packing the books in.
I’m working at a feverish pace trying to process orders as fast as I can. Here’s part of the fourth stack I’m preparing to mail out tomorrow, before the Labor Day weekend holidays. Again, thank you for your patience! (Oh, and if you want, you can order your copy now – only $20 + shipping!). Add 10 bucks for an Artist Edition, where I’ll draw and autograph your book!
As always, thank you for your support!

This morning , I finished preparing and packaging all existing pre-orders for Rebootus Maximus. I took a few snaps to share with you, including a couple of autographed copies.
I’m now preparing for the next wave of orders… and good news, I’m including the PC Weenies / UNcubed Sampler #1 with all Artist Edition orders (while supplies last!). I will not be printing additional copies of the first issue of the PCW / UNcubed sampler after this initial run has sold out. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
So order yours while you still can!

Dave Bergschneider, the head Villain at VillainTech, is an avid reader of PC Weenies. This evening, he sent me a photo of himself with his copy of “Rebootus Maximus” and The PC Weenies / UNcubed Sampler #1.

Hi Krishna,
I just received your book…. the best place for me to picture myself is in front of my recently dismantled HAf 932 chassis (pending custom paint job).
Looks great! Bob would most definitely approve (and probably help you build it.)
If you’ve received your copy of “Rebootus Maximus”, send in your photo with your books, and i’ll post it on the blog! Don’t have a copy of Rebootus Maximus? Never fear, you can order one, with a choice of two specific versions, no less!
(And go check out VillainTech while you’re at it!)

P.S. I’ve set up a Flickr group showcasing sightings of PC Weenies comics and books. Add yours to the group, if you’ve got ‘em!
A few more photos to share this morning, featuring PCW readers Vincent Bomer, from the Netherlands, and Jarmo Hanninen, from Finland!
Vincent’s cat loves “Rebootus Maximus”!
Vincent with his book!
Jarmo Hanninen, my illustrious Finnish webcartoonist friend, holding up his copy, turned to the page which features his guest-star appearance!
He sure looks happy, doesn’t he?
Thanks for sharing your photos, gentlemen!

Avid PC Weenies Reader Antoine Gagnon sent me a few photos taken with his book. If his name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s the erstwhile cartoonist/writer behind the funny webcomic The Drunken Fools.
In his e-mail, Antoine wrote:
So, I’m on vacation at my parents’ domain and I had a little photoshoot with my mom. So, it appears your book has been sighted in the boonies!
Very cool! Another “Rebootus Maximus” sighting – this time in the Canadian wilderness! Where next will the first ever book featuring The PC Weenies show up? You’ll just have to wait and see!

Update: Antoine sent this one (captioned) earlier today. Thanks, man!
